What was done in practice
Jira Rovo was extensively used for writing specifications and related test cases in a repeatable and standardized manner, which prompted every team member to uphold the quality of documentation throughout the product development process.
For test automation, a meticulously crafted set of instructions let every team member, even those without a formal background in test automation, contribute to automated testing coverage, from unit tests to more complex e2e tests.
Results
The improvements in specifications and test case descriptions had far-reaching effects. Sprints became more manageable, though, in contrast, more was expected of the team.
Most importantly, it eliminated “bugs” caused by misunderstood specifications.
