The results are in for our latest employee satisfaction survey. Here’s a short summary in text, if you prefer to just view the visual version, scroll down to see the infographic.
Biggest strengths
According to VALA people, our biggest strengths remain the same as before. The results from the survey prove once again that VALA is a community where empathy and caring flourishes. We respect each other, are interested in one another and feel that we are encouraged to live as we wish. We are also proud of our employer and the things this company does.
As we work hard to continue building an even more inclusive community of professionals from various backgrounds with diverse personalities, it makes us very proud that VALA people have such respect for each other. An average of 4,7 out of 5 to the question ”I feel I am respected at VALA”, tells a lot.
One last highlight to emphasise is the NPS or in common language the question ”How likely would you recommend VALA to a friend or acquaintance?”. Unlike most questions in our survey this has a scale of 0 to 10. This is for the reason that an employee NPS score (more about NPS) can be calculated. To the beef. The average for this question was 9,3 and the corresponding NPS score was 75, both of these being excellent figures.
Where we need to improve
Even though the overall trend was very good (not a single question had an average below 4,0), there are still aspects that we are not satisfied with.
It is clear that our biggest challenges are in professional development and the work itself. It feels very bad to point this out because these matters are the ones we’ve been working for the most. However, we need to remind ourselves (and you) that these things are generally in a very good form (averages vary from 4,0 to 4,3), they just happen to be our weaknesses.
Summary
All questions counted the average comes down to 4,37. Sometimes we need to pinch ourselves to wake up from our own fairyland where this kind of figure is something that doesn’t exhilarate us. After the reality check, it does exhilarate us, and we know that it is a very good figure. All VALA people have worked so hard to improve our company and with it, these numbers, that we might feel a tiny bit of disappointment when we don’t see improvement. After all, we’re in almost exact same place number wise as we were in this January. But at the same time, we are convinced that we’ll get all the figures to the highest level in time, it just takes, well, time.
